This is a quick guide for getting started knitting. Included are videos that show basic skills needed to knit a simple washcloth/dishcloth. This is the guide included with the Knitting Kit that you can check out for free from the front desk of the library. This kit includes a pair of knitting needles and some yarn to get you started. The videos linked below are the videos included in these instructions.

Knit and Crochet Kits

You can now check out kits for knit and crochet projects for free from the check out desk on the first floor of the library. These kits include a pair of knitting needles or a crochet hook (sizes vary per kit), a yarn sample (that you can keep and don't need to replace), and a simple practice pattern with instructions.
