Getting Started with Knitting Kit Resources

Getting Started with Crochet

Crochet Kits will soon be available to check out with simple instructions. More info to come.

Knit and Crochet Kits

You can now check out kits for knit and crochet projects for free from the check out desk on the first floor of the library. These kits include a pair of knitting needles or a crochet hook (sizes vary per kit), a yarn sample (that you can keep and don't need to replace), and a simple practice pattern with instructions.

Stitching Together Meet Up and Make

Every Thursday from 12-2pm and Friday 5-7pm connect with other makers (or work on your own) in the Library Makerspace (3rd floor across from Special Collections) on knitting, crochet, and other yarn/thread/fiber based projects. All levels of experience welcome. You can check out a crochet or knitting kit from the Checkout Desk on the 1st floor of the library, or bring your own materials.
