Visit the Library Makerspace on the second floor!

What's the Makerspace?

The Cal Poly Humboldt Library Makerspace is a place where you can create and learn about digital and physical projects with other makers and resources to support you. We're located on the second floor of the Library (room 205) across from the whiteboard study spaces. Drop by to get help with a project, hang out with other makers, use our equipment, and so much more!

Makerspace Hours

Spring 2024 Hours: Monday-Friday, 1-7pm

Stations outside the Makerspace (Room 205) and the Makerspace Studio (1st floor, room 120) are available during Library open hours throughout the week.

The Makerspace will be closed for Spring Break (March 11-15th, 2024) and for Finals Week.

Makerspace Meetup Hours

Click the title links for full details. All Meetups happen weekly but do not meet during campus holidays, Fall, Winter, & Spring Break, or Finals Week.

Connecting with our Team

Librarians Consultations.  Have a class project where you need to create using digital tools, or something more hands on?  Meet with a librarian to talk through your project and ideas.  Email us at makerspace@humboldt.edu if you want to make an appointment.

Makerspace Student Assistants will be available during the MeetUp hours and regular open hours to assist with projects, help find answers to maker questions, and show of different tools and equipment you can use in the space and check out! They can refer you to a librarian for more support if needed.
