HSU Spotlight

Appropedia
Appropedia is the site to develop and share collaborative solutions in sustainability, poverty reduction and international development through the use of sound principles and appropriate technology, original research and project information. It's a piece of OER developed by HSU's very own Lonny Grafman. In his classes, Grafman uses open pedagogy by having his students create and publish their projects on the site for people to read and interact with worldwide.
Survey of Communication Study
This Communication textbook was initially developed by two professors at HSU: Laura Hahn and Scott Paynton. Since creating this OER textbook, the two have had their COM 490 students slowly edit and improve the textbook each semester as a major assignment.
