Public Facing Works (Texts)

Public facing texts can range from things like compiling anthology collections, writing OpEd pieces or blog posts, or contributing to/creating a book, journal, or website.

Examples:

Public Facing Work (Multimedia)

Public facing multimedia projects can range from creating podcasts, videos, maps, digital archives, timelines, etc. It can also include things like engaging in dialogue with authors or other experts through social media or applying research skills in order to give back to your local communities.

Classroom Education Materials

Classroom education materials can range from predictable things like rubrics, syllabi, ancillary material, and assignments to things like "learning architecture" (something to replace Canvas so students can access what they wrote later without worrying about the Canvas page deleting itself).

Contribute to Existing Public Resources

This includes entering into a broader conversation with open texts like OER textbooks or Wiki sites, finding gaps in their knowledge, and improving upon them.
