Manage Your Loans

In the Loans tab, you can expand the results to see more information about your loan, such as when it's due and what the maximum renewal date is. You can renew individual loans, or choose to renew all.

Requests

In the requests tab, you can check on the progress of your requests, download digital requests, and cancel in process requests if you need to. Expand your request via the arrow on the right for information about the progress of the request from the lender. Delivery dates are estimates. You will also receive an email notification letting you know your request is available, either to be downloaded or picked up in the library. Digital loans will remain in your account for up to 90 days, but are dependent on copyright laws.

Fine + Fees

Unpaid fines and fees will display in the Fine + Fees tab. Fines and fees are paid at the Student Financial Services Office located on the second floor of the Student & Business Services Building, not at the Library.

Excessive overdues, fines, or bills may result in the loss of library privileges. Failure to pay will result in a hold on your Cal Poly Humboldt records and registration. Accounts overdue by six months will be referred to collection.

Overdue Print Reserve items carry late fines of $0.50/hour, with a maximum per item of $50.

All Library materials overdue by 15 days will be billed for full replacement cost, plus any applicable overdue fines.

Inquiries about overdue notices, fines, bills, lost items, or damaged items should be directed to the Library Checkout Desk.  You can also call (707) 826-3431 or email the Access Services department. For more information about billing, fines and fees, and lost book charges, visit https://library.humboldt.edu/services/borrow/fines.html
