If you are looking for a more in-depth tutorial on getting started with research, you can take the HSU Library Research Basics and Reading Scholarly Articles online SkillShops. As part of the Research Basics SkillShop, you will complete a mini research project and will earn credit for attending a SkillShop as well as the Research Basics digital badge. Similarly, with the Reading Scholarly Articles SkillShop, you will learn about strategies for identifying, finding and reading scholarly articles and will skim and article to determine if it is relevant for a topic.
