  • Data Planet  is the largest single repository of harmonized and structured statistical data available to libraries. Data Planet simplifies data analysis for everyone and allows researchers to access statistics relevant to their areas of study and interest.

  • Data.Census.Gov primary portal to U.S. Census data (formerly American Factfinder)
  • Inter-university Consortium for Political and Social Research (ICPSR) maintains and provides access to thousands of social science datasets for research and instruction. Take a look at the ICPSR thematic data collections page for collections organized around specific topics.
  • Statistical Abstract of the United States Available through 2011. After 2011 the Abstract will no longer be published, although the data will still be available through the Census and other government organizations. 
  • Measure of America (online) this interactive resource lets you compare the Human Development Index in different parts of the United States.  
  • Data.gov The home of the U.S. government's open data, launched in 2009 and is managed and hosted by the U.S. General Services Administration
  • Data and Statistics About the United States Federal statistics from a variety of sources such as the Census, the American Community Survey, Labor Statistics, and more.
  • PEW Research Center A wealth of statistics from surveys ranging on topics from poverty, education, technology, race and culture, LGBTQ community, and more.
  • Statistical Sites on the Web A list of statistical sites online from the Bureau of Labor Statistics.
  • Sunlight Foundation U.S. government open data and policy analysis. National, nonpartisan, nonprofit organization that uses the tools of civic tech, open data, policy analysis, and journalism to make our government and politics more accountable and transparent to all. 
International
  • Trafficking in Persons Report The Trafficking in Persons (TIP) Report is the U.S. Government’s principal diplomatic tool to engage foreign governments on human trafficking.
  • National Center for Veterans Analysis and Statistics The National Center for Veterans Analysis and Statistics (NCVAS) supports planning, analysis, and decision-making activities through the collection, validation, analysis, and dissemination of key statistics on Veteran population and VA programs.
