Training & Lesson Planning Materials

This is a list of materials used by SkillShops facilitators to prepare for their workshops. Most of these can be used for L4Humboldt as well. 

• Students Facilitating SkillShops Schedule (Google Doc) – a list of action steps that peer facilitators must take in order to offer a SkillShop. Some items should be completed in order, but not all.
• SkillShops Facilitator Reflection (Google Form) – at the end of each semester, we ask facilitators to complete this form so we can gather feedback about their experience
• SkillShops Observation and Reflection Template (Google Doc) – before facilitating their own workshop, facilitators must observe another SkillShop and reflect on their experience
• SkillShops Facilitator 101 Training Presentation (Google Slides) – Google Slides presentation used during the 1.5-2 hr training
• SkillShops Facilitator 101 Handouts (PDF) – lesson planning tools for incorporating the ARCS motivation model (Keller), with examples
