Our library has general encyclopedias in languages other than English in our Reference collection. Here are some examples:
French
- Encyclopaedia Universalis (Ref AE 25 E3 1980)
- Grand Dictionnaire Encyclopédique Larousse (Ref AE 25 G63 1982)
German
- Brockhaus Enzyklopädie (Ref AE 27 B76 1986)
Spanish
- Enciclopedia universal ilustrada europeo-americana, with appendix and supplements (Ref AE 61 E6)
Dictionaries
There are many dictionaries on the web, easy to find with Google or another search engine. Here are links to scholarly or standard dictionaries online:

Print dictionaries in the library are located in the Reference collection on the first floor and the book stacks on the third floor. Books in Reference can't be checked out, but you may use them anywhere in the library. Books in the stacks can be checked out. These call numbers work in both Ref and the stacks:
