Accessing full-text articles

Having trouble accessing full-text articles while using Google Scholar and/or are you being prompted to pay for articles? You may need to link our library so that you can access articles for free through our databases! Can I check out a laptop?

Off-Campus Software, Internet and IT Support

Software Access

You have access to software through the campus and it's available on lab computers, checkout laptops and some is even available for you to download to your own device. The ITS software pages list the options and details:

Digital media project software (video, audio, photo, graphic design, etc) is available throughout the computers in the library as well as the laptops available for checkout. Check the Creating Video Projects Software and Creating Audio Projects Software pages for more into and options.

WiFi Access

Current students may access eduroam Wi-Fi near any CSU campus, including Cal Poly Humboldt, using their campus credentials.

Technology Needs

Students who have any additional technology needs (software, hardware, internet access and more) should submit a help ticket to the ITS Help Desk.

You can learn about research, citations, shooting video, and more through our Online SkillShops which are up and running during the full Fall 2020 semester.
