Integrating Library Resources Into Your Canvas Course

In Canvas you have the ability to create a module dedicated to library resources. This will allow you to customize a list of materials that your students will have direct access to when they log into Canvas. To set up a module to house the library resources that you want your students to access, follow the steps outlined below:

Step 1: In your Canvas course, click on the Modules tab on the left side of your screen.

Step 2: Click on the + Module Green rectangle in the top-right corner.

Step 3: Create a title for this module. Once you have done this, click on green Add Module icon in the bottom right corner.

For the purposes of the demonstrations in this guide, we have labeled the module Library Resources.

You will now be able to add library resources to this module. You can customize the materials however you choose. Follow the instruction in this guide to insert different types of resources into your guide. For further assistance, contact the library directly.
