Step 1: Click on the Plus icon to the right of the title of your module.
Step 2: Click on the drop-down menu box on the screen that comes up. Select Add External URL.
Step 3: Enter the URL of the page of the library's website that you wish to link to. Be sure to give the database a title in the Page Name field, one that makes it easily identifiable. Ex: Library Skillshops Calendar
Step 4: Click on the Add Item green rectangle. Your screen should look like this.
The HSU Library website contains an abundance of resources for you and your students. Below are the some resources that have not been highlighted in this guide that may be of use to your learners:
Skillshops: These 50-minute sessions offer your students an opportunity to learn and improve skills related to research and a variety of other areas. This calendar provides information on upcoming workshops. Offerings vary from semester to semester.
InterLibrary Loan: If you can't find a specific resource at our library, we can see if one of our partner libraries has that item. Click on one of the categories on the left side of the screen (ex: book) and fill out as much information as you can about the item in question.
Study Room Reservation: Your students can reserve one of our study rooms for individual or group study sessions. To reserve a room, click on the day you wish to reserve a room and then select a room and time. Availability varies depending on the day and time. Check the schedule for available rooms and times.
