Humboldt Digital Scholar Electronic Thesis Submission

Current Students

Current students submit their master's thesis through the Office of Graduate Studies. Be sure to check with that office to get all of the forms and formatting done correctly and make sure that you are going to meet all of the deadlines. You will be able to submit up to fifteen keywords/subject phrases for the Library to enter with your thesis. These keywords and the abstract that you write will help people find your thesis; choose your terms carefully.

Once your thesis has been entered into Humboldt Digital Scholar, you will be sent a short, persistent, permanent URL that you may use to provide access to your colleagues, friends, and family.

If you are a Humboldt State University graduate and you wrote a master's thesis and would like to have your thesis converted to a digital format and archived in Humboldt Digital Scholar, please let us know. Contact the HDS Administrator and let us know who you are and when you graduated. We have limited staffing to scan and convert documents, but we will be processing as many theses as we can.

Revision Policy

Graduate Office Policy on Revision after Submission

Check your final document carefully. Any requests for editorial changes to a thesis/project after archival with Humboldt Digital Scholar will be denied. Editorial changes include errors in punctuation and spelling, minor changes, or major changes to interpretation of data or content.
